Role Purpose

To support Sprout & Co’s finance function by ensuring accurate day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, supplier management, and financial admin. You keep the numbers clean, the processes smooth, and the team informed. This role is perfect for someone early in their finance career who wants hands-on experience in a fast-scaling hospitality business.

Three Things You Own

1. Accurate Daily Financial Records

Bank reconciliations, invoice processing, expenses, and revenue data checks.

2. Supplier & Purchase Management

Ensuring suppliers are paid correctly, on time, and with accurate records.

3. Support for Month-End & Reporting

Providing reconciliations, schedules, and data needed for accurate monthly accounts.

Five Areas / Projects You’ll Impact

1. AP/AR Administration

Managing invoices, chasing missing paperwork, and keeping ledgers tidy.

2. Banking & Cash Reconciliations

Daily and weekly reconciliations to ensure zero discrepancies.

3. Payroll Support

Collecting hours, tips, reimbursements, and ensuring clean data for People & Finance.

4. Stock, Waste & GP Data Integrity

Supporting data checks on stock counts and margin reports.

5. Month-End Preparation

Preparing journals, reconciliations, and reports used by the Financial Controller.
